Family owned and operated, Backwards Distilling Company was founded in 2014 in Mills, Wyoming by the Pollock Family. Since then, we have expanded our distillery and opened our downtown Casper Tasting Room.

11 Graves

11 Graves Whiskey

This special edition Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the oldest release from Backwards Distilling Company to date. It is a carefully blended batch of three barrels all between 7 and 9 years old. The result is a beautifully rich and complex expression that captures both the classic bourbon character and the spirit of the wild west in one bottle.

Support the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corp! Every bottle sale includes a $5 donation to the organization.

Description
  • 40% ABV
  • Softer, sweeter, and smoother than a bourbon
  • We combine barrels of 4+ year old bourbon with barrels of wheat whiskey to marry together the best both styles of whiskies have to offer
  • Both whiskies are made from scratch and aged to maturity on site in full sized, 53-gallon barrels
  • The barrels are made classically, with air seasoned staves, and are toasted and then charred
  • After the two whiskies are mixed together, the batch is finished with toasted oak to further enhance the flavor profile
Tasting Notes
  • Nose: brown sugar, black cherry, cinnamon, cedar
  • Taste: prominent graham cracker up front, Bing cherry, milk chocolate, peanut brittle, long, sweet caramel finish with a hint of smoke. Soft, sweet, smooth
How To Drink It
  • On the rocks or in a whiskey cocktail that calls for something
  • Pairs great with brown sugar and honey
  • Try it in an Old-Fashioned
